LO-PROFILE WIRE WRAP BOARD

/Personal Clipart/lo-pro.jpg    Our “Lo-Profile” pin loading option is available on all standard and custom wire wrap boards. With our new pin design, a wire wrap board occupies only 0.8" (4HP) space in a VME enclosure or card cage. This unique pin still allows two wraps per pin, conforming to MIL-STD-1130B. All SLP pin sizes are available with Low Insertion Force (LIF) sockets

    The “Lo-Profile” pins are compatible with our patented embedded capacitors and our exclusive Selective Loading process. Use the low profile pins with our A32:D32 “Platform” board or “Mr. Glue” modules and you will have a professional looking board, with the VME interface ready to accept your designs. These combinations yield a compact production board from standard wire wrap boards. Our extender is a multi-layer monolithic PCB with all signals impedance matched to backplane standards. COMPACT PCI PROTOTYPE CARDS

/Personal Clipart/photopcb.jpg S.L.P. Ltd. has released two Wire Wrap prototype cards for use in developing circuits for use in compact PCI (CPCI) systems. The 165925 is of the 6Ux160mm form factor, and the 165938 is of the 6Ux220mm form factor. The 165925 was designed to meet the PICMG TM 2.0 R 2.1 compact PCI TM physical specifications. The 165938 meets the same specification except for its length of 220mm.
The PCBs are of 6 layer construction. Layers 1, 3 & 5 provide VCC planes. Layers 2, 4 & 6 provide GND planes. The three VCC planes and the three GND planes are each connected by feed throughs distributed throughtout the card. The GND planes are committed to the GND pins of J1. The VCC planes are uncommitted, and maybe committed to either the +5 VDC pins or the +3.3 VDC pins of J1 using solder washers.
   Input/Output is provided thru CPCI connectors J1 thru J5. Each pin of the connectors is connected by a circuit trace to a WireWrap post in an area directly adjacent to the connectors. These WireWrap posts are in 5 rows on aa 0.10x0.08 inch grid. The remaining area of the card may be loaded with WireWrap socket pins. This area may be fully loaded with pins, or selectively loaded to the user's specification.

UNIVERSAL CABLE INTERCONNECT BOARD

/Personal Clipart/universal.jpg No more custom cables! No more hard-to-find wire wrap connectors! Connect your system using 9 DB09, 2 DB25, 1 DB50, RJ11, RJ45, and an 8 line power distribution block. All pins for each connector have heavy traces leading to gold plated wrap socket pins. This enables us to supply custom wire wrap connections per the Users NET-LIST, using cost effective industry standard PCB connectors. The result is a custom multi-node I/O that can use standard cables and pin assignments, while tying into the host system with any pin assignment YOU choose.
